Father Merrin [Doom Metal - FR]

Born at the end of 2009, FATHER MERRIN is a French quartet with a style relying on the  heaviness of doom metal. However, the band doesn't set itself any limit, as evidenced by some brutal  vocals of his frontman. An uncompromising approach named Possessed doom metal!  By the spring 2011, FATHER MERRIN begin to perform on stage, building foundations for the solid live  act reputation they now own  

May 2014: the release of the All Is Well That Ends In Hell EP allows the band to get more gigs  throughout France, as well as in Belgium and Germany, alongside French fellows BARABBAS or THE  BOTTLE DOOM LAZY BAND, or supporting international heavyweights such as GOATESS or ESOTERIC.  A troubled period follows, which sees the congregation face several line-up reshuffles, yet continuing  to play live and write. 

Today, FATHER MERRIN intend to demonstrate they are more alive than ever and join forces with  CLEGANE (doom metal – Paris) to release a split mini-LP that will be available in 12" vinyl and digital  formats. Both bands had shared the stage several times before, thus giving birth to a black synergy,  two distinct but complementary visions of the same cataclysm! No need to specify the listener will  not emerge unscathed from such a deep dive into the heart.
