Depuis presque deux décennies, PRESUMPTION (Doom - France) n'a cessé d'évoluer avec des influences telles que Cathedral, Black Sabbath, Triptykon et Down. À travers une centaine de concerts avec Mars Red Sky, Regarde Les Hommes Tomber, Headcharger, Electric Taurus, The Bottle Doom Lazy Band ou Barabbas et ses précédents EPs, le groupe n'a cessé de transmettre une énergie et atmosphère macabre mais attrayante. Les riffs lourds et psychédéliques (Adrien & Marvin - Guitares & Chœurs) ponctués par le rythme langoureux du batteur (Anaël - Batterie) et les dires du juge (Moomoot - Guitare basse & Voix Lead) représentent l'essence de la devise du groupe : juger la folie des hommes. Désormais, le premier album du groupe intitulé "Presumption", signé avec Sleeping Church Records, est sorti le 17 novembre 2017 et contiendra 9 titres. Un clip sera présenté dans les mois à venir pour illustrer l'un des morceaux du LP. Cet opus contient des voix parfois torturées (Deadly Barrels), parfois effrayantes (Presumption) et décrit la souffrance que les humains peuvent endurer (Atomic Fear) ou s'infliger entre eux (Pale Blue Horses). Cette déviance de l'humanité est également mise en évidence par des histoires concrètes (Dr Satan) ou des œuvres littéraires (Red Death) dans lesquelles PRESUMPTION puise sa source d'inspiration. En bref, une sonorité envoûtante démontrant que le mélange d'une atmosphère doom avec des voix lourdes ou typées death peut apporter une identité musicale cohérente !

Formé à la fin 2009, FATHER MERRIN est un quatuor lorrain qui base son style sur la pesanteur du doom metal. Toutefois, la formation ne s'impose aucune limite, comme le prouve notamment le chant brutal de son frontman. Une approche sans concession baptisée Possessed doom metal !

FATHER MERRIN commence à donner des concerts au printemps 2011, posant les bases de la solide réputation scénique qu’il possède désormais.

En mai 2014 paraît le EP All Is Well That Ends In Hell, ce qui permet au groupe de donner d’autres concerts à travers la France, ainsi qu’en Belgique et en Allemagne, en compagnie de formations tricolores réputées (BARABBAS, THE BOTTLE DOOM LAZY BAND…) ou bien en ouverture de poids lourds de la scène internationale (GOATESS, ESOTERIC...).

S’ensuit une période trouble qui voit la congrégation groupe faire face à plusieurs remaniements de son line-up, sans pour autant cesser de jouer live ou de composer.

Aujourd’hui, FATHER MERRIN compte bien démontrer qu’il est plus vivace que jamais et s’associe avec CLEGANE (doom metal – Paris) afin de proposer un split mini-LP qui sera disponible en formats vinyle 12" et dématérialisé. Des concerts partagés par les deux formations est née une noire synergie, deux visions distinctes mais complémentaires d’un même cataclysme ! Inutile de préciser l’auditeur ne ressortira pas indemne d’une plongée si profonde au cœur d’une musique sombre, racée et puissante… Stay possessed or die!

Formed in June 2017 with a sound reminiscent of the Swedish pioneers,
RITUALS quickly made a name for themselves delivering high quality live
performances to Australian audiences.
October 2018 saw the band take that name a step further, with the
worldwide release of their debut EP “NEOTERIC COMMENCEMENTS” on
CD/digital through French label Sleeping Church Records.
Having received resounding praise from international media outlets such as
Metalian magazine (FRA), Rock Hard magazine (FRA), and Zero Tolerance
(UK), the band now has its sights set on the release of their much
anticipated follow-up "INVICTA".

Goatroach was spawned out of the murky waters of Kallavesi late 2018.
First demo materialized in the spring of 2019 and the original guitarist Toni Järvinen left the group on November. Masi Pisto was picked up as a replacement and preparations for live shows started before the world closed down due to Covid.
This gave us ample time to get our debut album Plagueborn ready, which was recorded in May 2021 and released on vinyl in September 2022 on Kohina Records (Finland) and Minor Label (Germany) and then on CD via Sleeping Church Records.
Second album, Satanic Decay, was released on November 2024 in LP in conspiration with Minor Label (Germany) and Sleeping Church Records (France) and is now available on CD through French label.

For this album, on the level of inspiration, we started off with a delirium of "concept album", around SF, news from the 60s and 70s, old “Metal Hurlant”, with redundant riffs, a bit disgusting leitmotifs that are found from one track to another.
Ben’s lyrics, and the cover made again by our friend Tetar, also reflect this Space/SF atmosphere.
This album was intended to be a mix of “Blood for the Bloodking” and “Lost n’ Drunk”: strong, big heavy riffs from the first album, and big psychedelic space songs from the second.
We still have time to put this one, almost 5 years, since we are big wankers and we are not able to organize ourselves haha!
Now, we’re gonna let the old dog go back to his belly, lie down at the bottom of the bar, let him fall asleep, and bother him for a while.

It is time to open the gates of BARABBAS’s Holy Redemption riff and find solace, tranquility and joy (not to mention irreversible tinnitus).
“Redemption through headbanging”: this is, since 2007, the credo of BARABBAS who preached their music as the Holy Trinity of Doom Metal (Black Sabbath, Saint Vitus, Cathedral).
After a great EP in 2011 (“Libérez Barabbas”), and a first album (“Messe pour un chien”, 2014) hailed by the critics in France and abroad, BARABBAS reaffirms its faith in the almighty power of the Riff with “La Mort appelle tous les Vivants”: a new ode to pessimism recorded by Andrew Guilliton (Monolithe, Mauvaise Foi, Arkhon Infaustus, Grist, Clégane…) at Hybreed Studio, that will be released in December 2022 on Sleeping Church Records.

December will also see BARABBAS on the dooming road to preach his faith to the Holy Riff through many performances on stage. A domain he knows well for having gigged with Lord Vicar, Apostle of Solitude, Goatess… and shared the stage, in clubs and festivals (Fall of Summer, Motocultor, Samain Fest, Mennecy Metal Fest, Malta Doom Metal Fest, Northern Discomfort…) with Misanthrope, The Wounded Kings, Huata, Windhand, The Bottle Doom Lazy Band, Ataraxie, Pilgrim, Isolé, Marche funèbre, Conviction, Stonebirds, Mars Red Sky, Abysmal Grief, Lofodora…

Carcolh is a doom-metal band, based in Bordeaux and Herbignac, France, created in February 2016 by former members of Marble Chariot: Sebastien Fanton on vocals, Freddy Thomas on rhythm guitar and Quentin Aberne on bass (ex-Mercurials, ex-Svewen, ex-Hyrgal, ex-Sun Preachers).
Joined by Olivier Blanc on lead guitar (ex-Oyabun) and Benoit Senon on drums (ex-Pozor, ex-Hexenjäger), Carcolh writes its first album “Rising Sons of Saturn” during 2016 and records it at l’Atelier in Vensac, France, with Antoine Gonzalez from 10 to 12 March 2017.
Eager to perform on stage, the band takes the road for a short tour with Svewen in October 2017.

In January 2018, Carcolh signed on Emanes Metal Records for the digital and physical release (K7, CD, vinyl) of “Rising Sons of Saturn”.
Freddy Thomas left the band in February 2018, replaced by Quentin Aberne who left the position of bassist to switch to the second guitar.
Mathieu Vicens (ex-Dead Toys, Bruit, ex-Degraded) joined the band as bassist at the same time, and Carcolh initiate the writing of a new album in 2019.

After some gigs, Carcolh enter in the Heldscalla Studio with Raph Henry to record “The Life and Works of Death”, their second opus at the end of February 2020.
Hungry to spread their doom, the band signed with Sleeping Church Records in November 2020.

The Life and Works of Death, the 2nd album is released the 02.19.2021.
After the Covid's lockdown, the band had the opportunity to play with label mates Barabbas, Nornes, and Presumption.

Carcolh records its third album “Twilight Of The Mortals”, at the Heldscalla Studio again by Raph Henry during the last week of April 2024.

Nornes is a French doom metal band founded in 2017 in Valenciennes.
Their music blends traditional doom, funeral doom, and death metal, featuring heavy riffs, oppressive atmospheres, and desperate vocals. Formed by Ju (vocals/bass), Noé (drums), Adrien, and Rom (vocals/guitar), the band draws inspiration from My Dying Bride, Warning, and Bellwitch, while asserting its own dark and melancholic identity.
On stage, Nornes promises immersive and melancholic music that allows the audience to enter a state of dark fulfilment. Their first EP, Vanity (2018), earned them initial recognition on the doom scene, notably via the compilation Doomed & Stoned in France.
In 2020, Threads (Sleeping Church Records) marked a more immersive and introspective evolution, hailed by critics. Their intensity on stage further reinforces their impact.

In 2024, Nornes recorded their first album, Thou Hast Done Nothing, at Heldscalla Studio, mastered at Drudenhaus: five tracks dedicated to doom, heaviness, and melancholy in a world losing its splendor...

(Sludge Doom Metal - Costa Rica)

Hailing from Costa Rica, the Sludge/Doom/Post-Metal outfit kicked off in 2016, releasing their
debut self-titled EP. It covered quite a different spectrum, focused on a more heavy metal/hard
rock outfit. In 2019, with the release of their debut album “Ouroboric Trances”, they break their past
selves through a heavier, dirtier and overall bigger sound.
“Ouroboric Trances” ranges from groovy/heavy blended songs such as “Herald of Abyssos” and
“Goddess of the Hunt”, doom-drenched beast riffs in “The Crimson Penitence” and “Molten Earth”,
melancholy-filled “Witches’ Gallows”, with a guest violin solo by Ricardo Ramirez (from Grammy
Award-winning band Editus), there’s even a flashback song, mixing the old self-titled EP sound with
the new sound, “Bloodrage”, shows what Age of the Wolf is able to pull off in a 43 minute package.
“Ouroboric Trances” was released on May 10th, 2019 on Vinyl, CD and digital platforms through the
world renowned Italian label Aural Music, well known for being one of the top labels in scouting
and discovering new talent all around the globe.

The band was set to play their first US show in March 2020, at the Stoner Jam during SXSW, but the
COVID-19 pandemic cancelled those plans. This became an opportunity for the band to regroup
and start writing new music for their next release. Along this process, the idea of creating a record label came to fruition. This became Cognitive Discordance Records. Memorial (B-Sides) was
released in October 2020. This was the first release for the label.
In January 2021, the band participated in their first virtual US fest, Mutants of the Monster,
alongside bands such as Telekinetic Yeti, -16-, Yakuza, Sunrot, and more. They also finished a Split, alongside Aural label mates TEL, released on CD and Tape via Electric Talon Records (USA) in August 2021.

heavier, experimental territory. Embracing a much more raw sound, the new album tells the story
of Saar, the main character from the split. Continuing his search for purpose, Saar embarks on a
journey of enlightenment and sacrifice. Trials and tribulations arrive along the path, only to find
what truely matters deep within.
“A Pilgrimage to Nowhere” will be released on CD/Digital via Sleeping Church Records and on Tape
via Three Moons Records.

The line-up was stable in 2002 with Pascal-vox ; Joaness-guitargh & Guyome-drums/vomiting growls !

Unfortunely, the 9 July 2006 Pascal commit suicide !!!!! Family, members, friends & metal scene was very shocked about this bad news !!!!! September 2006, Yanosh join the band as main vokills & perpetuate the tradition !!!......

..The band played lots of shows across Europe in country like Belgium, Holland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, Portugal & also a Brazilian tour in 2006 . Pulmonary Fibrosis shared the stage with bands like :Morgue , Internal Suffering, Sanatorium , Cerebral Turbulency , Malignant Tumour , Alienation Mental , Ahumado Granujo , Bolt Thrower , Agathocles, Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition , Dead Infection & lots more ….. ....

..The 1st album "Organ Maggots" was recorded in November 2005 & release the 6 June 2007 by Last House On The Right Records

(U.S.A.). This release contains 21 traxx, recorded by the VAGINAL PURULENCE singer & mastered by Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer, Suffocation, Nile ...). Nasal Nauseous Vomit Liquid Grind Gore !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. ....

..The year 2008 was full of activities , we had a great tour in July with shows in Italy with Ultimo Mondo Cannibale & Dr Gore, few shows in Slovakia organized by Mirik of Pyopoesy together with Crusade Of Fanatism & we finish this week at the 10 years of the Obscene Extreme Fest in Czech Republic . In September we had to continue without Joaness because of personal problem, so we moved in Brazil in October as a 2 pieces (Guyome & Yanosh) & touring together with the german grinders Attack Of The Mad Axeman & few other great bands & friends. This tour was awesome, better than the first one & still lots of surprise, Yanosh had a moshpit accident in Divinopolis & Guyome had to sing & played drums for the 3 last shows !! Back from our 2nd Brazilian tour, we worked with the new line-up, who is the actual one : Yanosh / Adrien / Renaud / Guyome .......

..2009 started with a great fest in Spain, the Porno Gore Garri fest in Barcelona. The crowd was really great & few french friends of us came to have fun with us, that was really great. In February a show at the "SAS" in Délemont in Switzerland was plan & we had another great time with the great doom band Lord Of The Grave. Actualy, we still work on new songs, the split mcd with Gutslit is out now on Cataleptic Remains Prod. In July we organized 2 shows with the mexican goregrinders of Oxidised Razor, amazing people & sick grind shows, muchas gracias amigos ;-) Few weeks later we came to Vaals in Holland, Fred of Punished Earth organized a great fest with his band, Keitzer, Captain Cleanoff, The Bitch In The Van & few other great ones. Also our freinds Nils & Jan of Agathocles came to drink some beer & had some great time with the security haha :-) After few months of hard work, we finally got our visas for our "October Pus" tour, it started the 24 October in Banska Bystrica (Slovakia), we played a great show in Kiev (Ukraine) & then started our russian trip. We visited some Voronezh, Moscow, Ivanovo, Kostroma & Saint Petersburg for the Petrogrind fest 6. We toured with great bands & really nice people of Dehydrated, Crusade Of Fanatism, Obliterate, Inhumate, Purulent Jacuzzy & many more. Around 10000 kms on one week for one of our best tour ever, russian people fucking rules, thanx a lot ;-) We finally finished this year of 2009 by the Butchery At Christmas Time Fest X in Guarda (Portugal), people was great as always in Portugal, we celebrate also the birthday of the Commando Xuxu (we love you girls), also muito obrigado por Simao e R.D.B. ;-) ......

2010 is already started & Alarma records (Mexico) just released the tribute to LAST DAYS OF HUMANITY, get in touch with us or Joel directly to have your copy & listen our coverversion, your feedback are still welcome ;-) This year is also concentrate on the recording of our 2nd album & some other splits, but we had some opportunity & the one to play at the Underground Blast fest at the "Heretic" of Bordeaux has been just great, we shared the stage with Desecrator, VxPxOxAxAxWxAxMxCx from Austria, Gore & Carnage from Mexico & many more bands on this 2 grinding days, thanx again to Fred & Nico for this great fest ;-) The 2nd album "called "Interstitial Lung Deseases" has been recorded between february & july, the artwork is already draw by Luisma (Haemorrhage) & the mixing has start in the hands of Jack (Mesrine). Mierdas Prod will release the cd version will be out on 30 January 2011, the Lp version will follow on Cataleptic Remains Prod. October was great enough, with shows in Niort with Deep Vein, show in Maldegem (elgium) with Anal Penetration, Intumescence, Mucus, Last Days Of Humanity & that was a relly great show. On December we played at the Lille Grindfest 1 together with Anal Penetration, Jesus Crost, Sylvester Staline, A Den Of Robbers, Leng Tch'e & few other great bands, LDOH cancelled their coming !!!

30 January 2011, the 2nd full lenght album "Interstitial Lung Disease" has been release by Mierdas Prods (Mexico), 40 minutes of goregrind, with a sick cover of Luisma from Haemorrhage. The promoting tour for this new album started in February, under the name of "Mexican Lung Diseases Tour". Some great shows in Pachuca, Mexico DF, Tula, Orizaba, Puebla, Tulancingo & Edo. de Mexico. The tour was insane, crazy crowd & great people. We shared the stages with some great bands such as Beheading, Gore & Carnage, Oxidised Razor, Maniac, Cronophago, PxNxSx, Pigtails/TxPxFx & many more. Muchas Gracias amigos & hope to see you all very soon ;-) PxFx played also at the Brutologos fest in Palencia (Spain), together with Baptized in Vaginal Liquid ; Carnivore Diprosopus ; Grog ; Gore & Carnage ; Rato Raro, R.D.B. & many more. PxFx appeared at the 2nd edition of the Underground Blast Fest 2 in Bordeaux (France), they shared the stage with Fubar , Infest , Iron Batasuna , A Den of Robbers , Xaros & many more . On september PxFx started a one month tour in south america , playing around 17 shows in Brazil , Argentina & Chile , proud for being the first european goregrind band to play in Argentina & Chile . The world tour 2011 for the support of the 2nd album is done , some new recordings will be out in 2012 , as well together with few shows .

First PxFx show in 2012 was at the Underground Blast Fest 3 on 14 april together with Department of Correction, Defecal of Gerbe, Unsu, Eating Shit , Dehuman , Whoresnation , Repulsione , Atara & Agathocles . The mixing process for the split cd w/Satan's Revenge on Mankind started & will be release by Mierdas Prod (Mexican version) & Low B Rec (German version) . Finally reunited with our brothers from Sao Paulo (Brazil) Plague Rages, we shared the stage with them in Poitiers on 10 july with a fast show, a video shoot has been done by "make some noise". On 27, 28 & 29 july, PxFx has been invited by the team of the Ont Grind'u Fest , first time in Lithunania in the borders of the Baltic sea was totally awesome . We shared the sage with crazy & great bands such as Hemispherectomy, Zmogedra, Stormgrey, Oboltred, Afonia & Farsas. On the road again on 24 & 25 august to play at the Grindstock fest in Ceske Budejovice (Czech Republic) with Uchazim & But ; & at the Fekal Party Fest 14th edition with lots of great bands such as Agathocles ; Onanizer ; BBYB ; Nuclear Vomit ; Jig-Ai & many more. Now the recordings of many split are on the way, some stuff will be release & other are available. The end of 2012 has been full of work, cretaeing new songs for new splits, recordings & a show at the Heretic Club in Bordeaux (France) with Embryopathia, Foetal Ijury & Mentally Murdered in December. The 3 way split cd w/Hyperemesis / Hypermenorrea ,3 way split cd w/Menningococcemia Fecal / Bbarbapapa Butchery & the "Noisy & Nasty Ways to Make Santa Suffer" compilation o Infected Toilet Records has been released. We also started the recording process of the song "Unrest" for the tribute to Disrupt available in 2013 on Power-I-Up Records (Germany).

Here we are in 2013, we will celebrate our 15 years of existence with some shows together with our brothers of Embryopathia, see you on the road !!!! Our European tour will hit France, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy & UK. Here we are, our 15 years anniversary tour is over, we would like to thanx all promoters, friends & crowd from Italy, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Spain & Uk. We've got lot of great times through this year 2013, we had some bad moments as well, but we mostly had great partys with everyone. See you soon for more gore grind attack, cheers!!!!!

2014 started already & it there is some good news, the split ep with AGATHOCLES has been released by different label who coproduct it & lot of other releases will follow. It will be also the year for the 3rd album, so be patient for more goregrind themes!!! The recording of the third album finally started on 22 july & it will another sick release. Next to this 3rd album, many releases are on the way, releases & recording as well. The split 7" Ep with SPERMBLOODSHIT & the tribute to BLOOD are finally out. May & November was the time to be back in Spain & Germany for some great shows too

In 2015, some new releases was available like the split tape w/ HYPOPROTHROMBINEMIA, 3" split EP w/SHITFUN, the DEAD INFECTION Spanish & Mexican tribute & the 4way split CD w/EMBRYOPATHIA / SULSA / VULGAROYAL BLOODHILL on Obliteration Records. It was also the time for the Japanese tour with EMBRYOPATHIA & SULSA, 3 insane shows in Tokyo & Nagoya with VULGAROYAL BLOODHILL, PATISSERIE & many more; Naru of Obliteration Rec/BUTCHER ABC/CSSO managed a lot of things together. The 3rd album was mixed/mastered in Quebec by Jack Production (MESRINE/BOMBNATION) in july, the draws was made by Luisma (HAEMORRHAGE) & Tos (THE BOTTLE DOOM LAZY BAND) did the artwork, it will be finally out in 2016 on Rotten Roll Rex Records.

2016 started with a show in Poitiers with our friends of PUNCH DRUNK (ex-NO COMPROMISE) for the "Ca Va Saigner Du Clu" 2nd edition, festival done by our friend Cyril from TREPANATOR/THE LAST TOMB/(ex-DEEP VEIN). As all years we are going to do our annual show in Bordeaux (France) at the "Void" (ex-Heretic), together with our friends from GRINDER BUENO, GxOxRxE & others. In may we were back in Angoulême (France) to play with our old friends YATTAI & other bands, the first appearance of our new singer Simon (Grinder Bueno / Geriatric Slaughter & more) to replace Adrien. We had lot of fun & it was great to be back after almost 10 years. In this month we was also invited to play at the "Moshfest 2" in Montpellier, together with our friends from S.A.T.A.N., SEEKING OF THE TRUTH, BENIGHTED & DISCHARGE. The crowd was the most insane we've met in France, thanx a lot to the Moshteam for this crazy event. In July we booked a one week tour with Embryopathia & did lot of great shows in Portugal & mosty Spain. The singer for that tour was Fred from GxOxRxEx & others noisy project from Bordeaux. We started at the Xxxicken Party Fest in Portugal with great bands such as Carnivore Diprosopus, Prisoner 639, Rectal Smegma, Katalepsy & many more. Then we moved to Spain & did the whole week with our Mexican friends from Urtikaria Anal & our friends from Basque Country Mutilated Judge. An awesome week from the far north west to the south, playing with Rageous Intent,Bisturi, Kiste Sakro, Sub Rats & the almighty Tu Carne. Bewteen all those great shows, Grindfather Records released our 3 albums on tape, "Organ Maggots"; "Interstitial Lung Diseases" & "Idiopathic Lung Diseases". Our split tape with BOWEL LEAKAGE saw the light through Graboid Of The Ground Rec, Grindfather Records released a new t-shirt & some other tapes like the tape version of our split with ULCERROHEA & the split with VOMITOMA. We ended the year 2016 by playing 2 shows in France, Le Mans & La Rouille together with Chacals, Buzzoff, Wicked Fairy & Riposte. And as well recording 3 cover songs for the tribute to ROMPEPROP on SPLATTER ZOMBIES Records, to WARSORE & to AHUMADO GRANUJO.

We started 2017 with a new recording session, the new songs will appear on different splits late in the year. In february we started our first shows for 2017 & toured with our friends from DEFECAL OF GERBE, we came back to Czech Republic at the Modra Vopice in Praha with GODSFURY, INGROWING & the almighty GENERAL SURGERY; thanx a lot to Filip from the FEKAL PARTY Fest/l'Infantile Collective for this great show. The day after we moved to Jihlava, around 1h30 from Praha to share the stage with the old grinders from AGGRESSIVE TYRANTS & AHUMADO GRANUJO, a really cool event with our friends from AxGx. After sleeping few hours, here we are back to Ostrava 15 years ago after our first coming, this time at the Barrak Club for the GUTTURAL GORE GRIND MAFIA Fest #9 with INGROWING, AHUMADO GRANUJO, GRUNT, SKULLHOG/BILE, GRUESOME STUFF RELISH & many more bands; the crowd was awesome & we had a real pleasure to play those 3 Czech shows. We would like to thanx the Czech cops for being cool with us haha, you're in our top with the Estonian ones. In march we played at the Anthems of Steel fest with our friends of TREPANATOR (ex-DEEP VEIN), DEFENESTRATION & the french old school death metal band MERCYLESS. That was a really show we are proud to shared the stage with this friendly band. April & may was more relax with rehearsals & recordings sessions, but we ended the month of may at the "BRENNE DEAD Fest #2" in St Hilaire sur Benaize on 27 may, a small DIY fest close to our home studio. The line-up at that time was Reno on bass, Fred on guitar, Simon on vocal & Guyome on drums & backing. On 3rd June we were booked for the Shitnoise Fest 7th, together with our friends from BORIS VIANDE, ASSURE & many more. It was a special show as we played on the 3rd edition at Squat du 13 back in 2002 for the last show of our first tour. It was also a special show as the line-up was Fred Quintus on guitar, Simon on vox, Reno on bass & Guyome on drums/vox; Yanosh wasn't able at that time. On 16th June it was also time to take a flight till Croatia were we played on saturday 17th, our first time ever to this beautiful country, we was supposed to play at the Tumida fest on the Split's island, but the promoter disappeared & cancelled the event. The great people from the Metal Klub EKS helped us with a show in their own quarter, we had an awesome week-end with them & celebrated their 26 years anniversary, we also met the austrian thrashers of WILDHUNT. The line-up was once again bizarre, Yanosh wasn't able once again so Reno took the guitar, Fred on vox & Guyome on drums/vox. July started with the a great DIY fest in La Ferme de Mauriac called Violent Apes, it was their 2nd edition & we had the pleasure to came with our friends of THE BOTTLE DOOM LAZY BAND & CORPORAL ABUSE for an exclusive participation with Simon, Laurent & Noizemake. We played around 5am right before the last show of VENGEANCE & finally slept around 7am!!! The 2nd july fest was in Tours at the Riip fest for their 3rd edition & that was really amazing, it was also the first time with the 5 pieces line-up who consisted of Yanosh/guitar; Reno/Bass; Simon & Fred on vox & Guyome/drums. We shared the stage with LENG T'CHE, BLEND on friday & saturday BORN FROM PAIN & the almighty GHOUL killed us with other great bands in the owen place called "Gentiana". August was also very busy, almost each week-end where planned like a great week-end in Belgium & Germany on 4h & 5th, we came as a 3 pieces line-up this time, Reno/guitar; Fred/vox & Guyome/drums/vox. We met & played with our friends from ASSUR, AGATHOCLES, MEATKNIFE? PLASMA & many other bands, amazing week-end as usual in those countries. The next week-end was the time to be back in London (Uk), this time for the awesome & very well know Chimpy fest. We came with EMBRYOPTHIA, Simon took the mic to replace Yanosh in Embryo(he wasn't able due to health problem of his girlfriend). As well the PxFx line-up was Simon/vox; Fred/guitar; Reno/bass & Guyome/drums/vox. We shared the stage with amazing bands such as THE AFTERNOON GENTLEMAN, BIRDFLESH & many more. On week-end of the 24th & 25th, Lukas of STILLBIRTH booked us at the Deathfeast for the 10th year anniversary. The line was the same as the Riip fest & we shared the stage with VITAL REMAINS, CRYPTOPSY & many more. In the beginning of this year our friend Gary from the grindcore french band LARDON commited suicide, on 22th september Antoine & Meidhi, the other members, organized a tribute fest to him invited us. We had a really great time with our friends from UNSU, AxGxIx, SUBLIME CADAVERIC DECOMPOSITION & other great bands. The day after was time to go in Belgium for a true metal fest, the No Compromise & it was amazing, lot of booze, not so much sleeping & great bands. On 30th september was the Morg fest organized by our friend Christophe from the VAGINAL PURULENCE (R.I.P.) band & was also the engineer who recorded & mixed our first album "Organ Maggots". The Morg fest took place at the "T'es Rock Coco" in Angers & we shared once again the stage with DEFENESTRATION, the line-up was Simon & Fred on vox, Reno on guitar & Guyome on drums & vox. In October we had a great time in Goutrens, lost in the Region of Aveyron in south of France & we played in a cool squat with xInquisitionx, Rencor & Corporal Abuse/Pinky/CIRROTHAUMA MURRAYI. Then we drove to the Basque Country for the BILBAO DEATH FEST, amazing fest of our friends from MUTILATED JUDGE, the line-up on this shows was Simon & Fred on vocals, Yanosh on guitar & Guyome on drums. Last shows of this year was in November, the annual coming in Bordeaux took place at "La Brasserie des Halles" together with our friends from RLC, PORNOHARSHER, CORPORAL ABUSE & more. The last show tool place at the "Black Heart" in Camden, London (UK) together with CxBxFxIxHxFxLxFxRxEx, URTIKARIA ANAL, MUTILATED JUDGE, GUTALAX & more.

Here we are, 2018 will celebrate the 20th anniversary of PULMONARY FIBROSIS & we started this big tour at the Carnage Fest in Paris (France) with EXTREME NOISE TERROR & many other great french bands. The 2nd date took place at "Le Ferrailleur" for the Nantes Deathfist with SUBLIME CADAVERIC DECOMPOSITION in february. In March we did our 3rd show & surely the biggest & most professional one, NETHERLANDS DEATH Fest III with so many great bands & with our friends from SKULLHOG, MEAT SPREADER & many more. May was the time for a mini Spanish tour, we had so much fun & great pleasure to go in Basque Country, being back to the BRUTOLOGOS Fest, playing at the awesome VASTAGOS 84 Fest, in Barcelona at La Biblio & finally at Les Pavillons Sauvages in Toulouse (France) for ending this awesome mini tour. This was also the first tour with Fred on guitar & backing vocals, line-up on this mini tour was Simon on vocals, Fred on guitar & backing vocals, Reno on bass & Guyome on Drums. On 20th may we had the opportunity to play in Cardiff, Whales for the ERADICATION Fest with EMBRYOPATHIA & many other bands such as MERCYLESS, HECATE ENTHRONED. After that we drove back to Paris to fly till Baltimore (USA) to see MORTICIAN & start our North Coast American tour at the MARYLAND DEATH Fest 16th Edition, amazing first show of the tour with VIOLATION WOUND (feat. Mr Chris Reifert from AUTOPSY on guitar & vocals), VISCERA INFEST, WORMROT, ENEMY SOIL & many more. The first US tour started, we had an amazing time playing in Washington DC, Dayton, Philadelphia, Boston & New York at the St Vitus bar. After 10 hours by bus, we finally arrived in Montreal (Canada) for the last show of the tour at the EARSLAUGHTER Fest 3rd Edition , the fest as sold out & amazing. Back home after this amazing 2 weeks in US/Canada, we didn't had time to relax, our great friend & new guiarist/singer Fred was found dead in his flat. Pascal first & then Fred, two amazing great guys & frontman, you'll be fucking miss bros. No rest for the wicked , our 20th anniversary tour was on the way, show must go. Thym Fest was planned 1 week after our US tour, that was a special show for us & the line-up celebrated his 10 years together, Yanosh on guitar; Reno on bass; Adrien on vox & Guyome on Drums/Vomiting Growls. Followed a show with NOSTROMO at the "Conford Moderne" in Poitiers with a totally static crowd. The only show in July was in our state with our friends Les Frottis de l'Espace, a great open air fest until the morning. Between all this crazy shows, the split CD with the legendary PURULENT SPERMCANAL was released by BIZARRE LEPROUS Rec. August, Cuban tour was cancelled 2 weeks before travelling, we spent 5 days in La Havana & finally started the South American tour in Colombia, then followed Ecuador, both for the first time & that was amazing. Then that was kind of routine haha, Chile was amazing, Argentina was too with a private show in Mendoza. We had 2 days off & spent it with Josi Clair, our old friend & our manager/tour booking agency, in her city Balnerio Camboriu in Brazil, two great days, two minutes from the beach. Enough rest, we took the bus to Porto Alegre & played in Novo Hamburgo with our old friends Harmony Fault & that was an amazing show. No rest, we had to fly till Sao Paulo played the most amazing show of the tour in such a small place. Crazy crowd & sick bands, Thiago & the COMMANDO FUCK team did an awesome job; our old friends from PLAGUE RAGES did a crazy show too. It was the time to play in Rio de Janeiro, since our first tour in 2006 we was glad to play in this city. The place was a really nice recording studio managed by the UZOMI crossover band , we had also the great pleasure to share the stage with the cult goregrind band GORE. One last day in Rio, visiting Copacabana beach by night & that another crazy South American tour ended. Third & last tour took place in foreign countries such as Belgium, The Netherlands & Spain; unfortunately the show in Switzerland was cancelled due to a van issue in Amsterdam. It was also time to welcome or new guitarist, Pierre from BRAINDEAD Zine/BLUE HOLOCAUST/VOMI NOIR & we must admit that's the best musician in the band. So the first show was in Belgium, a fest in the honor of another missing friend Tony from PERMANENT DEATH & lately AGATHOCLES. The show in Amsterdam was awesome due to the line-up, then a long travel to Barcelona to play another sick show with a crazy crowd Barcelona know how to party as usual. Mostoles was again on our schedule & that was pleasure to be back at the Capa...oups the Sala Inferno, but same place & same crazy crowd. Last show of that smal tour took place in the north of cold Spain in Langreo, Noel from the cult GRUESOME STUFF RELISH organized that show in a small place but that was an amazing night. This crazy 20th anniversary tour 2018 came to an end, the last show took place at the Clurricaume Cafe in Poitiers for the "Cons/Sanguins" fest & the line-up was Pierre on Guitar, Reno on bass, Simon & Adrien on vox, Guyome on drums/vomiting growls.

Another year & still something on the way, 2019 has no exception, an EP with LES FROTTIS DE L'ESPACE is on the way. Some other splits will be out soon, split with ASSUR,split tape with CxBxFxIxHxFxLxFxRxE & more. First show of the year is taking place at the "T'es Rock Coco" in Angers (France) with SUBLIME CADAVERIC DECOMPOSITION, BORIS VIANDE, DEFECAL OF GERBE & many more with the same line-up: Pierre; Reno; Simon; Adrien & Guyome. As usual since the car accident of Adrien, he's not able to make every shows, most of them this yearwas outside France so we missed Adrien. March was pretty busy & it was time to be back in Belgium play at the Brutality Over Belgium with MUTILATED JUDGE, KORPSE & other slamming bands. It was also time to be back in Russia since our great tour in 2009, Olga (Cystoblastosis) & Pavel (No Bread Rec) invited us to play at the "Moscow Blastbeat 4" with ACTIVE STENOSIS & other kiler bands; then we took the train to St Petersbourg to play at the "Gorenoise Against Humanity" with INFERNAL DISGUST, TOLERANCE & many more. In April we drove to Rennes in France to play at the NEURONOISE Fest for their 2nd Edition , plenty of french bands played & MARTYRDOD was the headline. April was also the month to start another tour in Portugal & Spain, the legendary Czech goregrinders from PURULENT SPERMCANAL joined the trip. Once again & usual Portugal & Spain was awesome, we had lots of fun to play at the SWR Barroselas, Gijon, El Ejido, Castellon & Barcelona with killer bands such as GRUESOME STUFF RELISH, BONEYARD, MUTILATED JUDGE, EXTREME SMOKE 57 & many more. To end the onth f May, a show close to our hometown at the Canadian Café was done, we was invited to the release party of ED WARNER new LP & that was another crazy show with amazng words from their singer & old friend Yohan (ex-URBAN TRUGGLE). July was time to bring the Japanese VISCERA INFEST to Biel in SWITZERLAND together with our friends from PUREFIANCE for a cool show at the WAHNHOF squat. Then we drove to Trutnov to play at the OBSCENE EXTREME Fest & ending the fest late on saturday night, well sunday morning. October was also time to play in Copenhagen at the Grind Family Fest & for the first show ever in Danemark, amazing venue with cool bands great people such as MY MIND's MINE, SxOxTxEx & HEINOUS. The day after we drove to Lille in France to play at the D.I.Y. Café with our friends from AxGxIx, VIOLENT ENCOUNTER & the last show for MORVE. Due to German traffic we arrived right on time to playour set & doing a great afterparty with friends. At the end of October we was invited to celebrate the 5 years of the BILBAO DEATH Fest in Basque Country & that was another killer edition, great bands such as MASTER, RAGEOUS INTENT, DISTURBANCE PROJECT & OSSERP killed the stage. Last show of this year 2019 took place at the Club 9 in Koersel (Belgium), together with BOMBSACK, VIRUS INHUMANITY & MOKER. That was another awesome show with great friends & people.

Here we are, 2020 started with 2 great shows in UK on first week-end of Feburary, Paul from BASEMENT TORTURE KILLING invited us to join the line-up of the SNUFF Fest next to P.O.R.C, SUBLIME CADAVERIC DECOMPOSITION, GUTALAX & many more. Still great to be back at the Black Heart in London & the Gryphon in Bristol. February was busy with shows, middle of this month we played at "L'Espace Autogéré" in Lausanne (Switzerland) & was invited at the Philosyphilis Deathfest in Vienne (Austria), together with our gore bros PURULENT SPERMCANAL, next to CEREBAL ENEMA, PARTY CANNON & many more. Unfortunately 2020 turned pretty bad all around the world with a fucking Coronavirus that forced to cancel all shows, but we had time to record some sessions for new splits and materials for the next abum, so more news to come and to be back on the road asap.

2020 was done quickly with the restrictions all around the world, 2021 is kind of the same so at the end of of 2020 we recorded & filmed around 15 minutes at The Cripple Room and sent it for the SICKDOG Fest, this was a streaming fest set on 2 different week-end, we appeared the same day as Holy Cost, Scat & more, Samantha did a great job on the video & spent hours. On 10th july we played a special show in Spain, almost 1 year since the last show was done, we played under the name of Guyomonary Sambrosis (name created by Rob Bile/Skullhog) & the line-up consisted of Samantha on guitar, Anton (MUTILATED JUDGE) on vox and Guyome on drums. With this line-up we recorded few songs at "Top Music", it should appear on another weird release through NEWBORN PRON Prodz later. In october we played 2 nice shows, on 2nd in Poitiers at a secret place with ROTTEN, on 9th in Biel (Switzerland) at the Escargo Noir fest, once again with OPPENHEIMER TERROR & few other punk; sludge bands. The split tape with DECOMPOSED BIRTH is out now, more releases will be out later but delayed due to summer holidays and with the actual problem with vinyls press plant. After few months waiting our LP "Severe Pulmonic Valve Regurgitation" has been released through MELTAAARGH!!!! Records in december, that release feature a song that Pierre (VOMI NOIR/BLUE HOLOCAUST/BRAIN DEAD Zine) wrote during his time with us, he also did the killer artwork. December 18th was also time to play the last show of the year, after 4 years without playing in Bordeaux (France) we finally made it again, this time at the Antidote with Sam's crust band OPPENHEIMER TERROR, GLOBAL HORROR & DEAD TOYS. A nice way to honor the memory of our guitarist/singer Fred. We are also proud to announce that we sent everything to release the new album in the beginning of 2022, so more news will come in January.

Besides many recordings that has been delayed but will see the light of day soon, our new album is finally out since january 2022 and it's called "Pulmonologists", Obliteration records released the cd version in Japan, the tape version just followed and was released in Portugal by Larvae Records. The LP version is at the pressing factory & will be out on the french label Sleeping Church Records. On 22nd january we cameback to Barcelona to celebrate the birthday of Samantha & it took place in an old squat, but unfortunately the cops came at the end of the first band & cancelled everything. But we ended in a practice room & we played a great show with GUILLOTINA, EVIL SPIRIT FROM HELL & THANATOPRAXY were supposed too. Still on the way with private & secret shows, we played on 15th april in a friend's basement together with thrashers WARHEAT. After more than 2 years we finally play our first "official" show, it took place in the nice theater of Chauvigny (France) for the Anthems of Steel fest, the association clebrated at the same time their 10th anniversary an dthat was a crazy week-end. MERCYLESS, AGRESSOR, BUTCHER, DIONYSIAQUE, STONEWITCH, TREPANATOR, LEGIONS OF WAR, EXECUTION, MISANTHROPE, MORTAL SCEPTER, MANZER, SEOL & KILLERS played an awersome shows. The athmosphere was very friendly, people enjoyed each shows & also gave respect to the chicken called "Mayhem" of Reno.

Formed in 2007 in Perth, Western Australia, ATOLAH and internationally by releasing their first acclaimed EP “Relics” via PsycheDOOMelic Records in 2009 and playing extensively in Australia, most of the time with bands of completely different genres to theirs stoner/doom scene in Western Australian back then. A few songs off “Relics” which are all instrumental - can be found on multiple compilations released via different labels/magazines.

In 2010, the band relocated to The Netherlands and 2 new members were recruited. Vocals were also added to the new songs. In 2012, the band entered the Void Studio, ran by Pieder Kloos (The Blood Ceremony, Peter Pan Speedrock…) and recorded Post, Cross and Yoke, which was never released due to the band going on hiatus shortly after. Fast forward to 2020 and Pierre, the band’s founding member and main songwriter, resuscitated Atolah, this time in Melbourne, Australia. It is only in 2021 that new members were found: Clint (Hand of Doom Radio/Thaw) on guitar and Tim (Clagg).

In 2021, Sleeping Church Records and Atolah decided to properly release “Post, Cross and Yoke” as a double EP bundle.
