It is time to open the gates of BARABBAS’s Holy Redemption riff and find solace, tranquility and joy (not to mention irreversible tinnitus).
“Redemption through headbanging”: this is, since 2007, the credo of BARABBAS who preached their music as the Holy Trinity of Doom Metal (Black Sabbath, Saint Vitus, Cathedral).
After a great EP in 2011 (“Libérez Barabbas”), and a first album (“Messe pour un chien”, 2014) hailed by the critics in France and abroad, BARABBAS reaffirms its faith in the almighty power of the Riff with “La Mort appelle tous les Vivants”: a new ode to pessimism recorded by Andrew Guilliton (Monolithe, Mauvaise Foi, Arkhon Infaustus, Grist, Clégane…) at Hybreed Studio, that will be released in December 2022 on Sleeping Church Records.

December will also see BARABBAS on the dooming road to preach his faith to the Holy Riff through many performances on stage. A domain he knows well for having gigged with Lord Vicar, Apostle of Solitude, Goatess… and shared the stage, in clubs and festivals (Fall of Summer, Motocultor, Samain Fest, Mennecy Metal Fest, Malta Doom Metal Fest, Northern Discomfort…) with Misanthrope, The Wounded Kings, Huata, Windhand, The Bottle Doom Lazy Band, Ataraxie, Pilgrim, Isolé, Marche funèbre, Conviction, Stonebirds, Mars Red Sky, Abysmal Grief, Lofodora…
